Fall Traditions

Family Fall Fest 2014 has officially come and passed. Columbus Day weekend is a bittersweet weekend for my family, as the summer camp season comes to an official close. With the speckled assortment of fiery oranges, yellows, and reds bursting from the trees; celebrating traditions (new & old) warms me, despite the cooling of the air.

There is nothing more quintessential about fall than carving pumpkins with the warm aroma of apple pie baking in the kitchen.  So dive in an enjoy some spiked apple cider, throw a pumpkin carving contest, revel in the laughter, and take in some amazing sites while Autumn lasts! Hey, maybe even light a roman candle…
