The Canadian Rockies aggressively cut in line on my bucket list. Over the past three years I had reeled so hard to get to BANFF, and I’m so grateful I got to share the experience with my Dad.

I love the moments in life that you aware of the meaning behind a memory in the making. It is  those grandiose moments that imprint you. Times that are so meaningful, beyond.  This adventure with my dad, in its entirely, was one of those mega life moments.

“I’ve come to know that memories were the best things you ever had.” – Ben Howard

I recently started a new job with a company I’m super excited about but that meant moving on from a company that I’ve worked for, for almost four years. Change is weird and can be difficult so I’m grateful this adventure presented itself when it did. Sometimes we create the space and sometimes the space is created for us.

To quote my Instagram post that detailed my thoughts perfectly:

Jobs fill your pockets. Adventures fill your soul. At the end of life, what’s it all worth? Memories > money ??❄️ I’m super fucking grateful I’m able to create memories as an adult with my dad. My humble suggestion, if I may–invite your parents on an adventure and let the good times roll.
